Dara Horry was raised in Sapulpa Oklahoma and graduated from Sapulpa High school. She holds an Associate degree from Conners State College as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Northeastern State University. She is a retired Oklahoma Educator and during her tenure in the Elementary School classroom, she earned her real estate licensure in 2016. After over thirty years teaching in Oklahoma school districts, her real estate clients now have her undivided attention.
Dara is familiar with the Northeastern Oklahoma area including Skiatook, Sperry, Sapulpa, Tulsa, Okmulgee, Bristow, Preston, Kellyville, Morris, and Henryetta. She focuses on Residential and Commercial properties and is well versed in Farm and Ranch real estate transactions; she and her husband own Horry’s Legacy Farm in Sperry, Oklahoma, where they manage livestock as well as three lively teenagers.
Dara’s real estate philosophy is simple; ethical, trustworthy service, personal attention, along with good old-fashioned nose-to-the-grindstone work always brings the best results.
Time management and organization are two skills uniquely in demand, and as a former educator, they are second nature to Dara, as is her determination to care for her clients. “No one will work harder for you. I love helping people achieve their dreams. As we sit down together to connect and discuss your next real estate adventure, I am confident you will know you have chosen the best agent to meet your needs.”
Dara and her husband, who just retired from the Tulsa Police Department, enjoy their ranch in Sperry, and adult children, but their three adopted daughters keep them hopping during their spare time. Attending Varsity Volleyball, and Basketball games, as well as middle school sporting events are regular activities for the Horry family. They enjoy caring for cattle, donkeys, chickens, and dogs on their ranch, Horry’s Legacy Farm, and stay busy, busy, busy! Retirement is a state of mind!
“Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing…” – Pel
